Loved the ambience and cleanliness of this hotel!
My husband and I recently spent a delightful ten days in this lovely establishment. Being met at the airport by Mike's good friend from England holding the sign "Hacienda Alemana" started off our vacation in a most relaxing and congenial way. There we were in the heart of the Romantic Zone in a very clean and beautifully decorated room with all of the comforts of home. We enjoyed the famous German buffet at Mike's restaurant one evening, and you shouldn't miss the opportunity. The location is about a five-minute walk to the beach and is right on the bus line, so we were able to access various tours and activities easily and cheaply. If you are going to Puerto Vallarta, you can't go wrong with a stay at this lovely hotel.
Pristine rooms, attentive service, and great location
I just returned from Puerto Vallarta, where I went for the first time with my boyfriend. I was more than pleasantly surprised when Mike, the owner of Hacienda Alemana, personally came to pick us up from the airport and took us to his beautiful bed and breakfast in Zona Romantica in PV. I consider myself a seasoned traveler, and can say with confidence that Hacienda Alemana is one of the most well-kept and fine-tuned places I have stayed in outside of the U.S. The rooms are immaculate, and the attention to detail is noteworthy, especially the interior design and amenities--everything is well-thought out and executed with refined subtlety. Distictively refreshing
A tear came to my eye as mike took me to the airport after a 2 week stay at this special property and fantastic city. The rooms, staff and imaculate grounds made my stay one I will long remember.
Every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations. I will soon be contacting mike to arrange a return visit.
Good, better, best - and what comes next?
This was one of our best holidays we ever had. The hotel gives you everything you need and if it is posible even more. It was an fantastic stay in harmonious atmospher with wonderful and tasty food (international and german style) at any time.
We wil keep it in our minds und for sure we'll be back!
Outstanding Boutique Hotel
We are a couple in our fifties who just got back from a wonderful stay at the Hacienda Alemana. This small boutique hotel is one of the quietest and cleanest I have ever stayed at. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the on-site German restaurant is exceptional. The extras that are included in the room rate - such as breakfast on the beach every day and a chilled bottle of bubbly in the bar fridge daily are wonderful bonuses. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to others. It is a great find!
Two highlights
We went for a 5 day fishing trip to Puerto Vallarta in September. There were two highlights in this trip,the 600 pound Marlin we caught (and released) and this quiet and secluded hotel.
Our suite was perfect and the owner Mike and his wife Irma were great hosts.They told me next year they will build the Pool and then this place will have everything you desire.

Super place to stay in PV
I have just enjoyed a 5 day stay in the hotel and highly recommend it . The location is perfect ; in downtown PV and close to the beach . The rooms are brand new and immaculately maintained. I was provided with free laundry service and unlimited free internet access . The manager is a chap called Michael who turned out to be a fantastic cook as well as a mine of information on PV and Mexico . All in all , the most enjoyable hotel I have stayed in for many a year. Going back next year !!

Our 5-day stay at the Alemana was delightful! Our nicely decorated modern room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. We thoroughly enjoyed our bottle of champagne left for us in the fridge located below the big flat-screen TV!!! Mike, the friendly owner made us feel very welcome - our first night there he offered us a drink "on the house"! Every morning it was such a wonderful treat to walk a short distance to the beach where we had a delicious breakfast. The staff was always very helpful and caring. My husband and I highly recommended the Hacienda - we'll be back!
Amazing boutique hotel with unparalleled service
When booking my trip for Puerto Vallarta, I was initially struggling to find a hotel that looked comfortable, had room availability, and was affordable. Fortunately, I stumbled on Hacienda Alemana through tripadvisor which is highly rated. Sure enough, when booking the room, I had a good feeling right off the bat. Talking to the proprietor Mike on the phone, he sounded very genuine and extremely helpful, and he offered to pick us up from the airport since we were staying at the hotel for more than 3 nights.
When we arrived and finally made it out of customs, he was patiently waiting for us. Having come off of a 4 hour flight and having never been to PV before, it was perfect to have this extra service... Keep reading »
